One of the oldest and most popular styles of desks has been, and will continue to be the executive U desk. U-Shaped executive desks offer an affordable and economical way to enhance any workspace. The design, typically composed of a desk, return, and credenza, makes for an efficient "everything at my fingertips" style. While all quality office furniture manufacturers offer their versions of U-Desks, some are more pricey than others. It is important to measure your space and find the size and style desk that works best for your space. One feature of Executive U-Desks I particularly like is the ability to add on easily. If you outgrow your configuration it is usually quite easy to add additional pieces such as a hutch, file cabinets, or larger desk. Another benefit of using a U-Desk configuration is modularity. The ability to transform your desk from a right or left return is great for those not in a permanent office space! Executive U-shaped desks may not be the solution for everyone, but in our opinion they are an excellent value and provide a style that stands the test of time!
I think it's important to note just how great the value of a quality laminate executive desk is. U desks are excellent as is but utilizing the modern advances in laminate finishes can really save money over the price of veneer executive desks.
